Alterian's leading Real-Time CX technology delivers personalisation to consumers in real-time, as well as insight and AI-driven decisioning. Our products can integrate and turbo-charge existing channels and systems without having to rip and replace current technology.You'll be working at Alterian in the Product team reporting to the VP of Product.
The Role:
Working across the business you'll jump straight in working out what makes our users tick, and helping building products that empower them.
- You will work as part of a multidisciplined agile team to design user focused and successful products.
- You will collaborate with our software teams on the creation and rollout of a user interface design standard and UI toolkits.
- You will work with the product teams to capture feedback, carry out competitor analysis, user research and usability studies.
- Work closely with the Product team and developers to produce design guidelines and recommendations.
Essential Competencies & Skills:
- Has a sound knowledge of using artefacts to share and communicate insights such as user flows, experience maps, experience blueprints, prioritized user needs, user profiles, and test results.
- Has good understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Capable of effective prioritization of tasks and personal time management.
- Comfortable iterating, testing, and refining solutions to ensure so the company's end products solve user problems.
- Ability to contribute to the creation and continuous development of user personas.
- Has a good understanding of Agile delivery methodology.
- Able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.
- Can share a portfolio of previous work.
Desired Competencies & Skills:
- Experience in user research and the techniques used to gather, define, and understand user needs.
- Experience of working in a small agile company.
- Active and participant in communities of interest (in online groups, speaking at conferences etc.)
