Our client is a long established food manufacturing company in Thirsk. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.


This is an exciting time to join an award-winning company and is an ideal role for a production operative looking to develop their career.

As a production operative you will be expected to weigh, mix and blend ingredients using automated control panels.


Your duties will include:

  • Working to your own initiative
  • Operating computer programmed machinery
  • Working under strict food hygiene regulations
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Working shift patterns 6am6pm / 6pm6am
To be considered for the role of Production Operative, ideally, you must have:

  • The flexibility to work shifts
  • Proven reliability in a working environment
  • The willingness to learn new processes
  • Own transport due to location
