We have an exciting opportunity for an

HR Policy Specialist, to join ABL HR Operations in London, United Kingdom. If you are professional and solution-oriented with an eye for detail, then this could be you.


What you will be doing:

As our

HR Policy Specialist, will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and implementing human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and promote a positive and equitable workplace in line with the company strategy. This position involves working closely with HR leadership, legal teams, and other stakeholders to create and update policies that align with the organization's values and goals.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:


Policy Development:


  • Research, develop, and draft HR policies and procedures in collaboration with HR leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure policies are aligned with current employment laws, industry standards, and organizational objectives.
  • Regularly review and update existing policies to reflect changes in legislation and organizational needs.

Communication and Training:


  • Communicate HR policies to employees and ensure understanding through training sessions, documentation, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with HR and Learning and Development teams to develop training materials and conduct training sessions on policyrelated topics.

Compliance Management:


  • Monitor and assess policy compliance within the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, QHSE and other relevant teams to ensure policies adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Policy Implementation:


  • Work with HR teams and senior leadership to implement and enforce HR policies consistently across the organization.

Policy Documentation:


  • Maintain a comprehensive and uptodate policy library.
  • Ensure policy documentation is easily accessible to employees through the company's intranet or other communication platforms.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement changes that enhance the overall effectiveness of HR policies.
  • Any other adhoc tasks that are required.
The role is based in

London, and the incumbent needs to have the right to work and reside in the UK. Flexibility regarding working hours is expected.


What we are looking for
:


  • Hold a University Degree in HR Business Administration or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in HR policy development, implementation, and compliance in a global environment.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of employment law.
  • Must be wellversed in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude.
  • Capable of following instructions and procedures
  • Team orientated with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • A mature and responsible personality able to work on their own initiative when necessary.
  • Efficient and effective when performing work duties with high attention to detail.

Desirable Competencies:

  • Experience with HRIS
