And from ensuring the organisation is compliant with any new NHS requirements relating to investigation and reporting of patient safety events to producing monthly and quarterly reports for internal governance committees, clients and third parties.

As someone with inherent gravitas youll have experience of building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll be presenting complex information and seeking engagement on a regular basis so your sophisticated communication and influencing skills will be called upon regularly.

What experience do I need?

We are looking for a Registered General Nurse with experience gained in an ophthalmology setting. Your clinical experience and expertise will be vital in this role.

Youll have extensive senior level management experience in a healthcare setting whether that be in the NHS or in a private healthcare provider.

Were looking for a team player who is adept at building relationships and communicating across all levels and with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders and employees alike.

Youll be adept at data analysis, report writing, policy development and writing and developing and implementing robust governance structures and frameworks.

With an excellent working knowledge and understanding of healthcare regulatory bodies youll have experience of working closely with the CQC.

Youll have experience of leading regional or national teams and will have demonstrable evidence of having successfully implemented and embedded robust governance structures.
