Who We Are

Seven League is a fast-growing digital sports agency and consultancy founded in 2011. We are now part of IMG, following Endeavor's acquisition of our parent organisation, Mailman Group, in 2021. This means our current teams - with associates in over 14 European countries - will continue to scale.

Who We Are Looking For


We are looking for a digitally-savvy operator - someone with broad knowledge and expertise - to manage day-to-day new business activities and contribute to the continued expansion of our business.


Sitting within the Corporate Development team, it comes with the opportunity for growth and development as Seven League scales inside IMG, supports internal IMG and Endeavor business units and serves the wider sports industry.


As digital specialists, our clients and prospective clients expect us to help them achieve their goals by presenting new and creative solutions to complex challenges.

As such, this individual will have a solid grasp of digital strategy implementation and will be skilled in listening and reacting to client needs, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and establishing new ways to support our sports clients in their quest for audience growth, fan engagement and revenue generation.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

Business development, strategy and internal relationship management

  • Contribute to business development across new and existing clients
  • Work with the VP of Corporate Development and wider 7L/IMG colleagues to develop and implement the company's growth strategy (eg sector identification, prospect mapping and service development)
  • Lead our responses to competitive tender processes across a range of digital services (from audience understanding and strategy work to content, creative and social channel management)
  • Craft proposals and resource plans, develop business plans and model revenue/audience growth
  • Work with colleagues to achieve Endeavor's strategic goals
Client and industry facing

  • Understand client challenges, detect trends and identify opportunities for 7L to support
  • Craft creative and insightled solutions that can transform digital businesses
  • Present ideas, campaigns and strategies to clients of all levels of digital maturity
  • Form strategic, tactical and operational recommendations
  • Model growth projections (revenue, audience and engagement) with rationale and plan resource
  • Write reports and present to senior stakeholders and decision makers
  • Identify fan acquisition, audience retention and revenue growth opportunities for clients and establish ways for them to grasp those opportunities
General

  • Support in resource planning, project management, lead status and milestone tracking
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital trends, relaying insights to colleagues and clients
  • Being an ambassador for Seven League and IMG and being both professional and approachable
You Will Have The Following Strengths

  • Broad digital experience and understanding of the sector
  • Commercial acumen; identifying and seizing opportunities
  • Knowledge of digital trends and a high bar for digital best practice
  • Professional experience in at least two of the following areas:
  • Digital strategy (design and/or implementation)
  • Digital platforms & products (architecture, design, development, management)
  • Data & CRM (strategy and/or management)
  • Content, marketing and social media (major platforms, across the full creative suite)
  • Commercial and sponsorship (business modelling, growth forecasting and revenue projections)
  • Digital innovation and technologies
  • Highly numerate, able to understand and manipulate data
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and spreadsheet proficient
  • Informed, but with a commitment to continued professional development (of oneself and others)
  • Experience in competitive tender processes, problem solving and/or business development
  • Marketing expertise: audience research, campaign planning, audience segmentation, profiling and content targeting
  • Commercial sports rights experience (eg valuing assets, selling rights or digital sponsorship)
  • Experience managing parts, or all, of an organisation's digital operations
  • Digital strategy experience (setting and delivery)
  • Experience using native platform analytics (eg Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Experience of running social media channels or websites
  • Understanding of technical and digital language (eg CDP, DAM, SEO and CRM)
  • Experience working in international markets and/or deploying global growth strategies (eg Europe, the US and Asia)
