My client is looking for a
Medical HR Advisor in
Prescot, that would be willing to work
Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week) at a pay rate of
£13-£15 per hour with a
temporary contract which is 6-12 weeks.
EDUCATION
:
Medical Staffing experience,
CIPD qualified
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee Relations
~ To provide advice to managers in handling employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance, attendance and capability ensuring timely, effective and consistent outcomes are reached
~ To act as the People Services representative at formal investigation meetings and hearings, including arranging the meetings (disciplinary hearings, change management processes, capability hearings etc).
~ To work with the HRBPs to review and analyse key performance indicators (workforce information, attendance/ absence, ER cases, appraisal, vacancy, bank usage and turnover) to support programmes designed to improve performance
~ To work with the HR Manager on change related projects providing HR expertise in respect of role design, skill mix, communication and consultation
~ To ensure that employee relations information is updated on the Employee Relations Case Tracker and ESR at all times
Sickness:
~ On receipt of monthly sickness report from Workforce Planning forward to relevant managers highlighting action to be taken and to provide support to departments in terms of achieving the Trusts targets in this area
~ To work with the HR business Partner to provide advice with the implementation of the sickness policy and identify training needs. Initiate and follow up the progress of long and short term sickness absence management
Governance and Compliance:
~ On receipt of monthly fixed term contract report forward to relevant managers highlighting action to be taken. Trackers to be updated on receipt of new information from managers and risks highlighted to the Head of Department if action not taken
~ On receipt of monthly professional registration report, check online and inform manager if registration has lapsed and refer to policy for further action if necessary. Tracker to be updated
~ On receipt of monthly DBS report ensure staff required to have three yearly rechecks are checked and ESR updated. To escalate to the appropriate manager if necessary
~ On receipt of monthly right to work report ensure upcoming expiries are checked to ensure all staff have the appropriate right to work status and documentation and ESR updated. Trackers to be updated and to escalate to the appropriate manager if necessary
~ On receipt of monthly leavers information to assist in assuring exit interviews are being completed
Recruitment/Job Evaluation/Agenda for Change:
~ To work with the Resourcing Team to ensure high quality recruitment processes are delivered for Clinical Services
~ To attend selection interviews as required and advise managers on fair and effective recruitment and selection practices
~ To participate in Agenda for Change job matching/evaluation panels
Projects:
~ To contribute to policy development and associated training
~ To support the Staff Engagement and Just Culture Agenda by participating in projects as required
