About Our Client:

An NHS Service in Greater London.


Supply Officer (Quarter Master / Team Leader):3 new Makeready hubs are being implemented in Greater London, so we are looking for 6 Quarter Masters (day shift) and 6 Team Leaders (night shift) to work on various sites across London, starting from 31st July.


A clean driving licence C1 is required, as you will be driving to and from locations and also driving ambulance vehicles.

The role is based fully on-site around Greater London will cover the below shift patterns:


  • Quarter Master

  • DAY SHIFTS
  • Sun to Wed, 7am to 6pm & Thurs to Sat, 7am to 6pm > Hourly pay rate is £12.8
  • Team Leader
  • NIGHT SHIFTS
  • Sun to Wed, 8pm
  • 7am & Thurs to Sat, 8pm to 7am > Hourly pay rate is £13.42
New locations in Croydon, Oval and New Malden & current locations in Deptford and Wimbledon.

Makeready is a service which cleans and prepares and ambulance ready for crew staff to attend to patients.


You will ensure that hubs and ambulances are supplied with the right equipment and ensure products are available at the right place at the right time.


You will be required to supervise and keep an up to date log on all vehicles and equipment cleaning for daily operational requirement.

To facilitate the delivery and transportation of vehicles and suppliers, and ensure that all equipment and tools are functional and accessible, whilst examining equipment and consumables for damages or missing items.

Extra responsibilities for the Team Leader includes organising cleaning and resources, including staff, to deliver to plan. Supervising operatives including adherence to process and H&S.

Full training will be provided, but experience in a similar role is desirable.


The Successful Applicant:


  • Supply Officer (Quarter Master / Team Leader)
  • Current UK manual Driving Licence
  • C1 Category on the licence which is valid within the UK
  • Must be willing to undertake training
  • Previously worked in the NHS, public service or customer care environment
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels, build relationships and communicate in a sensitive manner
  • Ability to organise and train others
  • Must be willing to have line management responsibilities
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety & COSHH
  • Full vetting will be carried out including DBS check
