Job Overview:
We have three positions available within our school and we would love for you to join us.

Babyballet cover teacher - includes travelling between studios, meeting lots of dancers and fellow teachers within our Lanarkshire venues. Theses classes are for our pre-school department; ages 6 months to 6 years.

Full time Babyballet teacher - for expansion, we are looking to welcome a new team member to join our Babyballet team.

We are also seeking a passionate and experienced HIghland Dance teacher to join our team. As a Highland teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels. This is an exciting opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire others to develop their talent.


Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons in highland
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to help students understand and execute dance techniques
• Create choreography for performances
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to organize recitals, showcases, and other dance events
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in the dance industry

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of highland dance
• Strong ability to teach and communicate effectively with students of all ages
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
• Experience in choreography is preferred but not required
• Certification or degree in dance or a related field is a plus

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Freelance


Salary:
£10.70-£20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 2 per week
