Pathway Education is working with an "Outstanding" rated Special school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, that is looking for a full-time Teaching assistant to work with secondary aged pupils with SEMH (nurturing needs).

Students have communication and interaction needs and each has their own EHCP.

Pupils are aged between 11-18 and are taught in small class sizes to ensure they receive extra academic, social and behaviour support to keep them on track in class and with their learning.

Will have previous school experience, or somebody that has been working with young people as a youth worker, mentor, sports coach, or social worker).

Will be flexible, proactive, reliable, patient and a good team member with a sense of humour.

Having your own transport is desirable due to the location of the school and there being no public transport services nearby.

Can work Monday to Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm).
