Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant/Manciple to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. This role involves on call working on a rota system and on site accommodation will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and repair within school environment
- Carry out fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, general duties around school
- Perform routine inspections to identify any potential issues or repairs
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on various operations & duties
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments
Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Basic knowledge of trades is desired but no essential
