Vivid Healthcare are looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join a busy unit in the South West of England.

Pay:
£45 - £70 per hour

Position Details:
Must have at least 6 months UK experience and ideally hold up to date mandatory training certificate

Duties of the Role:

Assessment and evaluation of patients: ENPs perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make preliminary diagnoses.
Diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions: ENPs treat a wide range of acute medical conditions, including but not limited to, chest pain, fractures, lacerations, asthma, and heart attacks.
Prescribing medications: ENPs are authorized to prescribe medications to treat acute conditions and injuries.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests: ENPs order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as Xrays, CT scans, and lab tests, to assist in making accurate diagnoses.
Documentation and recordkeeping: ENPs are responsible for documenting patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and other important information in electronic medical records.
Patient education: ENPs educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary team: ENPs work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for their patients.
Continual learning and professional development: ENPs are required to maintain their professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
Compliance with laws, regulations, and standards: ENPs must comply with state and federal laws and regulations, as well as professional standards of practice.

To be successful for this role, you must be a fully Emergency Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 6 months recent experience in the UK.
