The Best Connection are an employment agency seeking Stock Operatives for an ongoing temporary assignment at our world-renowned client in Knightsbridge, London

This role will be working in a luxury department store back-of-house, and assisting with the merchandising and distribution of garments, toys, and souvenirs for retail


Responsibilities of the Stock Operative will include but not be limited to

  • Helping to take in and sort incoming deliveries
  • Restocking shelves in the store
  • Checking stock matches delivery forms
  • Quantity and basic quality checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Manually handling stock

Requirements of the Stock Operative

  • Ability to travel to the Knightsbridge area of central London independently
  • Ability to work as part of a team and following instruction
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Presentable and well mannered as will involve instore duties
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, high pressure environment

Rates of pay
- £12.54 per hour rising to £13.26 per hour after 12 weeks service

  • Hours of work
  • Shifts operate on a rota basis, with any 5 days in a 7day week being offered
  • Shift times can be 7:30am to 4pm, 8am to 4:30pm, and 12:30pm to 9pm

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
