The Role
Our Quality team are champions of quality from inception to delivery. They work closely with our teams to embed quality into the heart of everything they do.

Customer is what drives this role, ensuring that we are building customer-centric products and always seek to understand what good looks like to them.

Quality is not just about how we build products, but what products we build.

Our team should always be asking questions and facilitating the conversation to understand whether we are building the right thing and whether we are building it right.


The Quality Lead will work across multiple Engineering teams to build a Quality first culture by being a voice for Quality in all stages of the Product lifecycle.

As a senior member of the Quality team, they will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring other Quality team members.

What you'll be doing

  • Working closely with the Product Manager, and Engineering Team to refine work.
  • Involving crossbusiness stakeholders to define Quality for a project.
  • Defect tracking and reporting, with facilitation of root cause analysis within teams.
  • Identify risks and escalate quality concerns to the team.
  • Design faster feedback loops, enabling our teams to move faster with confidence.
  • Coaching and mentoring other Quality team members to embrace a Quality Assistance inspired model within their teams.
  • Be the Quality advocate within their Pod, helping them to reflect on and improve quality.
  • Assist in the creation and measurement of technical and nontechnical success metrics for a product.
  • Guiding the Engineering team to own and experiment on quality initiatives, using data to inform their direction.
  • Contributing to the broader Quality Practice, sharing insight, and working closely with Quality Team.
  • Teach and guide teams through different testing approaches.
  • Influence Engineering Team processes to better embed quality, and enable faster feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in quality, then design and implement processes to address them.
  • Facilitate Quality Rituals with a broad range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Execution of the broader Quality strategy within their Pod leading process creation or improvement in the teams.

About you

Requirements:


  • Have a deep understanding and empathy for the endusers
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Understanding of Agile principles, with experience implementing process changes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meeting facilitation and organization
  • Ability to influence teams of different backgrounds
