Grade D Points £21,968 to £24,054 FTE) £18,811 - £20,59- Actual salary per annum**A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join the successful Breadsall Hill Top Primary Key Stage 1 team. We are looking to appoint a practitioner who is passionate about the importance of early child development and believes in the potential of some of our youngest children.
You will be expected to deliver high-quality learning opportunities through a wide range of activities under the guidance of the KS1 Class Teachers both within and outside the classroom, in small groups or one to one.
The successful applicant will play a key role in our two-form entry school, not only in supporting the raising attainment, but most importantly helping our children to be happy, safe and secure and creating great memories for our children.
You would be joining Breadsall at an exciting time as we continue to work hard to be the school of choice for our community and provide our children with the highest quality education that enables them to fulfil their potential, discover new talents and develop a love for learning.
You will:
- Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and be proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning and childinitiated learning
- Be flexible and resourceful whilst always putting the needs of the child first
- Be reflective, enjoy challenge and embrace support
- Care passionately about making a difference to every child and their holistic development
- Have up to date knowledge of the importance of nurturing and the impact it has on the outcomes for children
- Support the capacity of the school as we seek rapid improvement across all key stages.
- Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues to add value to BHTP
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers and children
