Situated in the heart of the Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd is a privately owned, family run engineering firm looking for a new member to join the team as a Delivery Driver.

Founded in 1995, the company occupies 14,000 sq ft, specialising in one-off bespoke projects, prototyping, architectural metalwork and batch manufacturing.

Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd, work with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Plastics and Non-ferrous metals and are very proud to be certified in respect to EN-1090 for the execution of both Steel & Aluminium structures.

We are a small firm, employing 29 staff members and now looking to take the next step by increasing our workforce.

MAIN DUTIES

Driving the company Transit Van
Driving the company flat bed truck
Making collections and deliveries across the UK (Mainly London & across the South East)
Loading and Unloading of goods, using the company forklift
Attending site to assist with installations and unloading of products.
Working in the yard and workshop, use of general workshop machinery

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

A full clean UK driving license
Forklift License
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent ability to communicate at all levels.
Accurate with good attention to detail.
Ability to forward think and plan ahead

JOB TYPE
Permanent, Full time

Monday to Friday, 7am until 3:30pm (40hr week, unpaid half hour lunch break and paid break)

SALARY
£11 per hour

Overtime available during weekdays at time + quarter and weekends time + half
