Analytical Development Scientist

12 month contract

Liverpool

£25 per hour

Cpl Life Sciences are currently partnering with a animal healthcare company recruiting for an Analytical Development Scientist to join their Large Molecule Technical Development team.

The main purpose of this role is to support with the development of anew biopharmaceutical and vaccine product, involving microbial and cell culture projects.

Key Responsibilities;

Provide technical expertise and leadership for delivery of the analytical agenda within development projects, including HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS techniques
Plan, execute and evaluate laboratory studies, make technical judgements through data interpretation, knowledge and experience
Provide regular communication for project progress to senior technical staff and key stakeholders to a global level, including technical reports
Ensure all compliance is adhered to with safety and quality aspects for process development

Experience/ qualifications;

Degree within chemistry, biochemistry or biotechnology/ PhD or expertise in analytical method development
Expertise in development of analytical methods
HPLC, UV, ELISA & CE-SDS
Ability to resolve issues for early to late phase development
Ability to interpret structural analytical data e.g. mass spec knowledge or cell based assay data
