Having successfully built a reputation for providing excellence within permanent recruitment over the last 23 years as Tiro Associates Ltd, Tiro Contracts is centred on buildingthe same reputation across the contract and interim markets.


The role of Business Development Manager is multi-faceted, but at the centre is the focus on bringing in new contract business and growing the Tiro name across the contract market within engineering.

A new role for the business, this position offers a highdegree of autonomy and a genuine opportunity for the appointed individual to truly make the role their own.


Working across the UK with key clients including prestigious vehicle manufacturers and companies specialising in R&D activities for electric vehicles and driverless technology, the Business Development Manager will be proactively involved in bringing newclients on board, discussing opportunities for longer-term relationships and following up on leads generated.

You will be fully
- supported by an existing team of specialist engineering consultants responsible for head-hunting highly sought after and oftenscarce skill sets.


Due to the nature of the role, it is expected that you will have previous experience within the recruitment industry, where you have brought new clients onboard successfully.

You will have a proven track record of developing business within engineering sectorsand demonstrate the ability to understand technical and role specific requirements.


A self-starter who is able to work autonomously, you will be responsible for prioritising your workload whilst having the freedom to develop the business.


You will provide a consultative approach to prospective clients, understanding the challenges they face in attracting suitable individuals and demonstrating how Tiro Contracts Ltd can support them with these projects.


An excellent communicator and the demonstrable ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders across all seniorities is vital to your success.
