Working on behalf of an incredibly well-known and highly credible Digital Agency - I'm looking for a Technical Director with a strong d to essentially take the reigns on a wide range of Java-based Technical platforms whilst also overseeing a small team ofDevelopers.

As a business, these guys have a VERY impressive client base. I'm talking about some really big, well-known GLOBAL brands. Their tech function has grown organically over the years and they certainly show no signs of slowing down. If anything, they're justgetting started.

As Tech Lead you will be at the absolute heart of the Java delivery team and essentially drive the future success of the team, taking ownership of multiple, highly complex technical solutions.

Technically, you will have expert Java exposure - able to designend-to-end solutions that incorporate both front-end and back-end technologies. You'll also have a strong understanding of cloud-hosting platforms, DevOps and modern integration and release processes.

Overseeing a small team; you'll be a true man-manager - one that leads by example and knows exactly how to get the best out of your teams.

You will provide support, leadership, and oversight to multiple project teams ensuring projects are delivered to thehighest standards.

This is very much a client facing role so you'll need to be comfortable both preparing and delivering proposals, alongside presentations to all levels in addition to creating regular project documentation.

You'll also be able to recognise new talent andin turn, grow your team efficiently.

Whilst your role will be largely leadership and strategy focused, you'll totally understand the technology under your remit and will be able to be hands-on where required.

It's important you're the type of leader who isnt afraid to roll up their sleevesand get stuck in where required.

In a nutshell, I'm looking for a true technologist and alongside this, an inspirational and motivational leader who can take the reigns on some amazing Web and Mobile projects for some huge customers.

In return, you'll receive up to £120k plus benefits. You can work remotely and also spend 1 day a week at their awesome offices in Central London.
