This is a great role for an individual who holds BSc/MSc/PhD within Life Sciences, preferably with sales experience who is ready to kick start their career.
The primary functional objective of the position is direct contact with customers, to initiate and develop relationships, which will ultimately generate sales.
Key responsibilities:
This is a customer centric commercial role, being accountable for delivering continued high level customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive experience when working with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
You will successfully identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and optimally lead the sales of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.
We offer a phenomenal and extensive onboarding and training plan for all of our new employees. You will participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures
Maintaining and growing our current customer database through Company customer relation's management software (Sales Force CRM) is another key part of this role and it will enable you to be a successful sales professional.
It is important to share successes, failures and best practices, to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region and sales organization and to develop in the role.
Working cross divisionally is critical to identify and close new sale opportunities as is working as one commercial team.Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:
You are required to hold a bachelor's degree Minimum BSc within Life Sciences. At least two years previous sales experience is essential preferably in the Life Science industry.
If you have this experience proven track record in sales, meeting or exceeding YOY growth expectations we would like to hear from you Some form of Experience from a sales function in relevant industry is crucial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills would be important to carry out your role optimally.Strong capabilities to interact effectively with all customer types both internal and external would play a large part of your role.
As would the ability to handle time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks required. A curious or entrepreneurial mind-set, contagious optimism and a "can do" out-look are critical attributes for this role.We encourage our sales teams to take some calculated risks to grow the business, but you should not be afraid to learn from failures or challenges as they arise Flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment is vital.
