The Network Co-ordinator will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, line managed by the ICT Manager. This role is responsible for system-wide technical support for all computing devices and networks.
ICT Network Co-ordinator Main Responsibilities:
- Resolve problems associated with operating systems, wired and wireless networks, software, and hardware, including servers, NAS, Laptops, printers, Interactive screens and phones
- Management of the trusts MDM system and Apple School Manager tenants
- Manage and maintain the printer and copier fleet across all sites
- Make sure server and data backups are operational and resolve any issues
- Monitoring of the network, users and services to ensure safeguarding, security of data, users and to prevent cyberattacks.
- Ensure all server, NAS and end user operating systems are fully operational, patched and secure
- Maintain and manage the security and operation of all devices and networks, including firewalls, web filtering, switches and end users
- Maintain the ICT asset database, ICT contracts software and licence inventory
- Manage, maintain and develop SharePoint sites, Office 365 and G-Suite tenants including intranet
- Deploy software to end user devices, creating software packages as required via Microsoft Intune and Endpoint.
- Support the implementation of the MIS and E-Learning solutions as required
- Assist in the retrieval of data from Subject Access Requests (SAR)
ICT Network Co-ordinator Essential Requirements:
- Strong ICT skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft/Word/Excel
- Experience in managing projects and the ability to plan ahead and work within agreed timeframes
- Experience managing multiple projects or programme
- Experience in using systems for data entry and reporting
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a busy environment with a strong customer service ethos
- Experience working with Microsoft Server 201
- Experience working with Firewalls/VLANS/LAN and WAN architecture.
- Experience in maintaining and implementation of a Microsoft 365 environment.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility in working hours when necessary
- Be willing to follow the central services team Safeguarding Policy and procedures and undertake mandatory Safeguarding training as directed by the school
ICT Network Co-ordinator Desirable Requirements:
- Qualification in Project Management (e.g. Prince 2)
- Experience of working in a school/education environment
- Experience of working in a premise management environment
- Have experience and understanding of practice and principles for Safeguarding Children and Young People (CYP) or vulnerable adults within an educational setting
