Description

Responsibilities:

The level of responsibility and expectations technically, commercially and personally will advance according to the level of consulting grade. A general summary is given for Graduate Consultant level.

  • Collaborate and support colleagues and team members on projects.
  • Contribute to the technical delivery of projects, providing support and guidance to other teams and disciplines.
  • Manage and complete tasks, draft reports etc. within required deadlines and budget.
  • Assistance with Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and designs based upon sustainable drainage principles.
  • Take a proactive approach to managing client relationships, clarifying expectations, success criteria and outcome measures in order to meet their requirements and deliver successful projects.
  • As you will be collaborating with other related teams and disciplines such as land quality, an understanding and interest in working with other consulting disciplines would be advantageous.

Expectations:

  • Prepared to work in a variety of different environments with a variety of people
  • A flexible and dynamic approach for working in a growing team.
  • Computer literate to intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant technical software.
  • Report writing skills
Other preferable capabilities, although not essential, are as follows:

  • Experienced in drainage design.
  • Able to use GIS and CAD packages.
  • Experience in 1D and 2D flood modelling.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
