PRODUCT ADMINISTRATOR


Simple Technical Solutions Ltd (STS) was founded in 2003 in Glenrothes, Fife and in addition to product support services we also supply precision engineering solutions in the semiconductor and other high-tech industries.

The Role

The Product Administrator is a key member of the STS Production team. Some of the key roles are indicated below but full training will be given.

  • Create accurate Bill Of Materials and Engineering Data Files from customer product data using
MRP/ERP Applications, and Excel

  • Accurately store and maintain controlled customer and processed data
  • Create and issue accurate Job cards for engineering and customer supplied product data through to production
  • Responsible for assessing received customer product data packages and executing resulting follow up activities with Program Manager and customers
  • Constantly engage with Customer locally and across other European sites in order to estimate new product, change activity and program schedules to ensure the effective planning of workload requirements and achievement of schedules.
  • Order Stock consumables, Shipping through UPS & DHL both domestic and International.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deal with incoming calls from customers and suppliers
  • Arrange meetings with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide exceptional customer service levels.
  • Process sales orders
  • Manage Purchase orders.
  • Raise delivery paperwork
  • Update trackers and spreadsheets
  • Help resolve issues, problems or delivery
  • Generate quotations
  • Stock control
  • Kit control
Key Skills and Experience

Highly Computer Literate and expertise in MS Office packages

Ability to prioritise and problem-solve.

Work to Tight Deadlines

Excellent understanding of Customer needs

Strong Team member

Attention to detail


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Glenrothes: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
