Associate Client Director


Positioned within the Client Management team, this role will work to oversee M&A deal sourcing projects across our significant global Private Equity and Corporate client base.

Ensuring a seamless and effective target search across a leading private market company universe, the role holder will further supplement a long-standing team situated around the globe.


  • Deliver bespoke M&A origination projects across a portfolio of clients including Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, Corporate M&A teams, CEO's family offices and M&A advisors;
  • Oversee client projects endtoend throughout the research and origination phase ensuring seamless execution, consistency and delivery in line with the scope and investment parameters bespoke to each client
  • Use internal tools, databases and external searches to fulfil clients' requirements in a timely manner
  • Ensure exemplary client coverage enabling the continued achievement of a market leading NPS
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to further pollinate client organisations
  • Effectively manage across the research and origination teams to derive the most successful delivery and client output with an emphasis on quality output and outstanding results
  • Ensure effective time management managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the broader client team working to establish best practices and an efficient delivery model
  • Work to understand the data search structure enabling the scoping of future projects and preparation of upcoming search criteria
  • Contribute to strengthening the Group's internal controls and developing enhanced organisational practices;
  • Enable the utilisation and further enrichment of the Group's database

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to prioritise and manage stakeholder expectations, balancing multiple priorities, departments and rapid growth
  • Ability to drive accountability, deliver using own initiative, and lead by example
  • Maintaining focus on key priorities in the face of competing demands for resource with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to adapt, change and improve processes
  • Established track record of delivery across multiple client projects simultaneously
  • A positive and 'cando' approach that proactively seeks solutions and mitigates problems

Qualifications and Experience

  • Agile client manager experienced at working within financial / Fintech environments
  • 35 years' experience in a client facing role
  • Precise, detailoriented and analytical
  • Well versed at managing multidisciplinary teams across regions
  • Excellent communication skills listening, speaking and writing, with the poise to communicate with senior leaders
