Job Description:


As a Fashion Atelier Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our atelier, contributing to the creation of exquisite garments and ensuring the smooth functioning of our production processes.

Working closely with the atelier manager and the rest of the team, you will help maintain high standards of craftsmanship and deliver exceptional service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various aspects of garment production, including cutting, sewing, and finishing tasks.
  • Collaborate with the atelier team to ensure the timely completion of orders while adhering to quality standards.
  • Manage the organization and inventory of fabrics, trims, and other materials used in garment construction.
  • Assist with sourcing and purchasing materials, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare garments for fittings and alterations, including steaming, pressing, and ensuring proper presentation.
  • Assist with fitting sessions, providing support to clients and the atelier team as needed.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the atelier space, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to clients during fittings and appointments, assisting with garment selection and styling.
  • Communicate client feedback and requests effectively to the atelier manager and the rest of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fashion atelier, tailor shop, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of garment construction techniques and sewing skills is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
