Client Services Account Manager

£28,000 - £35,000 + Uncapped Commission

Hybrid - London

Our client is a B2B media business with an expertise across events, publishing and digital.

Due to increased client growth the need has arisen to hire a Client Services Account Manager who will be responsible for an existing client portfolio with some expectation to build on these accounts with some new business too.

We are looking for a Client Services Executive/Manager who will be responsible for an existing client portfolio.


The role will require you to work closely with the existing portfolio of 40 businesses, renewing their content marketing subscriptions, upselling additional advertising and splash campaigns to them, whilst also seeking out new business who can join the thrivingnetwork.

The role is very much a warm sell.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring their content is uploaded and maintained to a high standard and communicating that to them on a day to day basis
  • Managing the renewal process (which starts the moment they renew ahead of the following year)
  • Responsible for sourcing target clients and growing database with a view to new business development
  • Increase the number of network partners
  • Responsible for growing database i.e. supplier/vendor businesses and relevant contacts within those organisations
Areas of exposure and responsibility include;

  • Sales/business development
  • Marketing (new business and target audience)
  • Client management and customer success
  • A strong background in b2b sales account management
  • Experience nurturing clients and developing strong relationship
  • Excellent phone and f2f communication skills
  • An interest in media
  • Outgoing personality
  • Target orientated thrives on making closing client deals
