The Financial Systems team delivers a broad systems support service to finance andthe wider UCL community.

It is responsible for the operation of the core finance system, ensuring the integrity of accounting data, providing systems support for financial accounting and financial reporting processes and for providing second line support tothe Finance helpdesk.

The team also facilitates functional testing for both the MyFinance (accounting) and Axiom (reporting) systems.


About the role
This is a varied and interesting job.

You'll lead the team and have overall responsibility for ensuring all queries are responded to within stated SLAs; developing and maintaining business requirements and process maps for key systems tasks; documentingand maintaining system procedures and processes, and identifying opportunities to update practices and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.

You'll also play an active role in projects which require expertise from the financial system team, participatein user testing, provide operational support for the MyFinance and Axiom systems and lead the preparation and execution of month end and year-end system processes.

About you


To do this job you'll need experience of working with and supporting large finance systems, month end processing within a finance department, and testing system developments.

If you've also delivered training on financial systems and worked in the highereducation sector before, then that's great. But if you haven't, but you tick out other boxes, we'd still love to hear from you
