Marks Sattin is supporting a large organisation based in Mansfield with the recruitment of an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their head office function.


Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Financial Accountant will be responsible for supporting the preparation of statutory accounts for the group.


  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for the group
  • Assist with group consolidation
  • Oversee submission process to companies house
  • Support treasury team with monthly reconciliations and analysis
  • Liaise with the Tax Manager to assist with the preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Ad hoc support when necessary


This is a great opportunity for someone who is studying their AAT or at the early stages of their ACCA/CIMA, who has some experience in preparing statutory accounts, most likely in a small accountancy practice firm.
