Description
Simpson Judge are working with a forward-thinking, quickly growing business, with offices based in Liverpool City Centre.

This is a permanent position; for an ambitious Finance business partner, with a lot of scope to develop and a progression pathway.


Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the senior leadership team to allow strategic decision making with the help of financial
information

  • Preparation & reporting of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for the
monthly Board report

  • Make sure spend in line with budgets
  • Manage annual budgeting process from planning and stakeholder communication through to delivery
  • Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Ensure management accounts are working with financial governance & internal control requirements
  • Support Auditors during yearend audit for statutory reporting
  • Embed a culture of ongoing improvement; identify and support system and process improvements and
efficiency's, culminating in enhanced financial data integrity

  • Promote ongoing business efficiency's in support of ambitious savings targets and define fitforpurpose Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards

  • Support seniorlevel strategy development, present financial insights, scenario planning and whatif analysis

Experience/Skills required:

  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA Qualified Accountant
  • Have management accounts experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
