The Benx Group of companies - a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist building materials, supplying innovative products, systems and services to the building facades sector - is seeking to appoint a Technical Administrator to join our Benx Technical Services department based in Stoke on Trent and reporting into our Technical Services Supervisor.
The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate & timely technical support to both external and internal customer across the full portfolio of products, systems and services for SPSE and RCM.
Duties will include;- General administrative support for the internal technical team and field technical team
- Creating, amending and using database spreadsheets
- General document control issuing ISO reference numbers for new documents and then updating the ISO Sharepoint with new or amended documents.
- Updating the CRM system with new projects, architects, sample requests and site inspections
- Monitoring Uvalues and specs are being added to projects/architects on the CRM system
- Monitoring stock levels of all samples and organising samples from suppliers when needed
- Issuing company BBA certificates, TDS & COSHH data sheets and standard drawing sets
- Inputting new project information into the iAuditor software for Site Technical Team.
- Downloading site inspections & updating internal spreadsheets & the CRM system
- Liaising with the technical team to organise "Project Packs" for sales team members
- Responding to and organising all sample requests and colour swatches and monitoring stock levels of all products
- Sending and processing installer training requests
- Creating installer cards for contractors who have attended training or have been assessed onsite.
- Dispatching installer cards to our customers
- Good administration skills
- Attention to detail and methodical approach to workload
- Confidence to fielding telephone calls to support technical service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Committed and reliable
- Confident and articulate with people at all levels both face to face and over the phone
- A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to deal with customer queries/complaints in a diplomatic manner
This position is ideally suited to someone with good GCSE or A level results, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written and looking for a sustainable long-term career with a growing company.
