Term time only-39 weeks

Working hours:17.5 hours per week Monday

Friday 8.45am pm

Salary:
£10.98 per hour plus holiday pay (Approximately £8,454 per annum including holiday pay)

The Rainbow Creche is a childcare setting based in Ely in the West of Cardiff providing high quality childcare for up to 20 Children daily.

The crèche was registered in 2005 with the Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW)as a provider of low cost affordable childcare.

We offer places under the Flying start scheme, childcare offer as well as paid affordable direct access places for children who don't meet the criteria.

You will be joining a small but very friendly team as a crèche worker and your key responsibilities will be:

Helping with the day to day running of the crèche
Supporting the children and your fellow team members in providing an exciting and stimulating activity programme
Supporting your fellow team members in providing personal care for the children

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

At least 2 years experience in a childcare setting
Ideally hold a level 3 qualification in children's care, learning and development (or equivalent) or
A level 2 qualification in children's care, learning and development but must be prepared to obtain level 3
