Salary circa £30,000-£35,000 pa:

The role is varied from busy entertaining periods of very high-end service, to periods of time with lots of hands-on cleaning roles.

The role requires flexibility, and willing to be part of a small, happy team.

The family are away most of the year so the role will be mainly Monday-Friday.

Duties include, but not limited to:

To be able to receive family and guests and assist with luggage
Assist the House Manager to run the house proficiently with a handson approach
Answer the telephone and pass on messages as required
Help organise any maintenance and repairs to the house
Daily hoovering, dusting, cleaning to keep the lodge immaculate at all times
Assist the Housekeepers when required
Oversee contractors and suppliers when required
Set tables and serve meals in the lodge, and picnic lunches on the moor
Keep an account of stock levels of cleaning products, dry store food, and drinks
Clean the silverware, crystal, and china
Remain flexible in all scenarios to accommodate guests' needs
Driving duties as required
Possible trips abroad with family
Stay motivated and most of all happy
Be a part of a hardworking, enthusiastic team
IT skills would be beneficial
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Previous private house desirable, but not essential
Be fully legal to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence

Hours are Monday-Friday (when family are away). Additional weekend work when the family are in residence.

Probation period of 3 months.

Starting salary of £30,000-£35,000 pa, rising on completion of probation.

Accommodation available - 3 bedroom cottage - all bills included. Partners welcome.
