Our services consist of support living and community outreach services which provide our residents and service users with access to 24-hour support from experienced clinical and support staff.

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join our team at our new site in Chester You will be committed and have the values, passion, and determination in
_putting people first_, whilst supporting the lives of people with a learning disability or mental health illness.

It can be quite challenging at times, but the rewards are truly amazing to see our residents improving with the support we provide


As a Team Leader, you will be supporting our service users whilst working closely with your team of Support Workers to ensure they are providing the necessary support to our residents as part of their rehabilitation.

Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults with learning disabilities or a mental health illness will be beneficial for this position.


As part of this role, you will work closely with a variety of colleagues and support staff to prioritise outcome-focused support to our customers.

Hours of work:

The role is a full-time position working 38.5 hours per week.

This role requires a level of flexibility as you'll be working on a day shift pattern rational 7 days per week, including weekends.


Where you'll be working:

Your location will be temporarily based at Holly Court until Chester becomes operational working alongside another Team Leader.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities:


Your Responsibilities:


  • To work alongside the Service Manager and the team members in the daytoday running of the service.
  • Ensure duties are allocated to team members effectively and safely whilst on duty.
  • Support service users with daytoday activities enabling them to be able to live a full and as independent life as possible.
  • Ensuring that our service users are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Support service users whilst taking prescribed medication.
  • Supervise support workers in the delivery and support of our service users.
  • Be flexible to provide support in outofhours should the service require this.
  • Working positively and collaboratively with other colleagues within the team.
  • Support your own staff team to maintain effective professional relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work within and implement our policy and procedure, including confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Escalate as appropriate any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure service user records are maintained and kept up to date whilst reporting in a factual and 'personcentred' approach.
  • Ideally, you will have gained previous experience and have a good understanding of mental health rehabilitation or have gained your level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
