Description

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on construction contracts and project documentation, including drafting and negotiating contracts, bonds, and guarantees
Working on a range of procurement routes as well as bespoke agreements
Providing legal advice and support on construction projects, including procurement, risk management, and dispute resolution
Assisting with the resolution of construction disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and arbitration
Supporting clients with the development of project delivery strategies and risk management plans
Providing training and guidance to junior team members as required

Requirements:

Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in construction law
Strong experience in noncontentious construction and engineering matters
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
