We are currently seeking to recruit a new colleague to the position of Estates Surveyor to join our established Valuation and Estates team within Southampton City Council's multi-disciplined Property Services.

We are looking for a professional, motivated and skilled individual with a passion for property.


You will be responsible for managing a range of professional work across a mixed portfolio including landlord & tenant work, acquisitions, disposals, property management and valuations.

We require an AssocRICS or MRICS Chartered surveyor with post qualification experience who can demonstrate:

  • A proven track record within valuation and landlord and tenant work
  • A proactive approach to work
  • An ability to add value through their own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
