J66900**Venn Group is working with an NHS Trust who are currently looking for an Energy Manager to lead and influence the Trust, supporting their commitment to become carbon neutral.

Below is a brief synopsis on the role,


Location:
Berkshire

Hourly Rate:
£19.01 PAYE or £20.99 through an Umbrella Company

Duration:
temporary to permanent position
**Hours: 37.5 per week


Day to day duties include**:

  • Lead on the development and implementation of energy policies and strategies to support the Trust's Green Plan delivery for decarbonisation, sustainability and energy reduction
  • Create and support sustainability projects across the Trust
  • Coordinate initiatives to promote sustainability in relation to energy, utilities and services
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, imparting expert knowledge to educate on and promote sustainability
  • Work with energy suppliers and consultants to monitor and forecast on consumption and budgets
  • Produce reports to be submitted to the Associate Director of Estates to support the creation of a sustainable healthcare model

Essential Skills for the role:


  • Proven experience leading on sustainability and improving performance within the public sector
  • Specialist knowledge on sustainability schemes and working towards being carbon neutral
  • Previous experience at a management level, liaising with senior members and stakeholders
