We are inviting you to join us as a Recruitment Team Leader, based in our Birmingham office on a part-time basis.
The role will be for 30 hours per week and delivered over 4 days on a Fixed Term Contract basis until the end of November 2023.
We would expect you to be in the office for 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) but potentially more in the initial induction period.
This is a newly created role where alongside managing 3 recruitment advisors you will also be required to be operational and recruit for a small business unit.
The role will require significant experience of team management and work capacity scheduling to include the importance of data/policy compliance, together with high levels of organization, attention to detail, strong relationship management and the ability to change priorities in a changing landscape.
As Team Leader some key areas of ownership and duties will include:
- Supervise, support and coach 3 recruitment advisors to deliver an exceptional service to key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Organise the daytoday work allocation of the team and reallocate work where required to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training and undertake performance and career development reviews with the recruitment advisors
- Provide cover for the Contingent Recruitment Partner when they are out of the business
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly data to share with the Contingent Recruitment Partner on SLAs and KPIs using data to make key decisions
- Ensure all recruitment and project trackers, teams and SharePoint sites are up to date at all times.
- Hold a weekly team meeting, produce agenda ,take minutes and follow up on actions
- Conduct 121 reviews with the recruitment advisors on a regular basis.
- Hold monthly meetings with our offshore team to discuss pinch points, end date reports and discuss action plans and any process improvements.
- Ensure the team complete timesheet ,annual leave and any mandatory compliance training modules
- Recruit roles for a small business unit taking a full role brief with the Hiring Manage to scope
- Adhoc project work as and when required.
What skills and experience are we looking for:
- A proven track record as an experienced and motivational Team Leader in a busy, fastpaced recruitment/ administration team with a high volume of requests
- Have previous recruitment experience in an inhouse or agency setting
- Be able to demonstrate how to motivate individuals to be effective, efficient, economic and creative to achieve organisational goals.
- Proven experience of managing a team with three or more individuals.
- Excellent reporting skills to produce management information with analysis
- Experience in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing packages
- Word and Excel, and working knowledge recruitment databases such as Workday
- Develop and mentor team members to maximize individual/team performance
- Good project management capability and the aptitude to work to tight deadlines
- Proven ability to problem solve and make pragmatic decisions.
- Adapts well to an everchanging landscape, demonstrate resilience, flexibility and energy
- Natural innovative thinker with problemsolving abilities.
Desirable:
- Contingent Recruitment background
- Experience and knowledge of IR35 regulations gained either from an inhouse or agency role.
- Knowledge of HMRC CEST tool
- Demonstrate an understanding of employment, contract and tax legislation relating to the engagement of temporary and contract workers including the Agency Workers Regulations, GDPR and IR35 rules.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Workday
- Working with an offshore recruitment model
