We're looking for an Asset Care Engineer to become a part of our team in Kirkby working on a day shift Monday - Friday.

Are you passionate about moving things forward, being hands-on to find solutions, and supporting a team that crafts quality dairy products?


Kirkby is the home of our butters and spreads and oils including Utterly Butterly, Clover, Countrylife and Willow as well as Frylight, the 1 calorie cooking spray.


The site is now going through a period of growth and is showing some very strong performances across all the KPI's.

Kirkby's main asset is its people and we invest heavily in training and development


HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...

  • Reporting to the Asset Care Lead the job holder will provide asset care measurement, interpretation and improvement recommendations based on captured field data.
  • Implementing the asset care strategy to meet the daytoday and long term goals of the organisation in a safe and sustainable manner.
  • Ensuring adherence to all food safety standards, GMP and SSOW whilst working.
  • Providing out of hours support as may be required to manage site support.
  • Improving Asset Care standards across the department and ensure that the site is compliant.

YOU ARE BEST SUITED TO THE ROLE IF YOU...

  • Are a Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds or HNC.
  • Have minimum of 1 year of work experience in utilities and facilities
  • Are able to demonstrate practical engineering skills and enjoy a handson approach.
  • Have an understanding of current relevant legislation.
  • Have excellent knowledge of utilities plant and equipment maintenance procedures and routines.

Salary £37,693.46 per year:
