Description

The role will entail:

  • Visiting sites in order to survey damage
  • Requesting reports from specialists
  • Gathering relevant evidence, including from police reports, security footage, etc.
  • Checking that policies cover losses and that the customers are claiming a reasonable amount
  • Giving advice to claimants as to how they can avoid further losses
  • Presenting reports and recommendations to the insurers
  • Making further investigations if fraud is suspected
  • A full driving licence and own transport
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to make accurate notes
  • The ability to work independently and to use your own initiative
  • Good IT skills
  • Good organisation skills

Pay and Benefits:


  • Monday to Friday 09:00 17:00 but flexibility will be required as due to the nature of the role it may require working longer days or working away at sites
  • Starting salary of approximately £22,000 which will be reviewed after 6 months
  • Parking on site
  • Statutory holiday holiday which will increase after 5 years to 1 extra day per year up to 25 days + bank holidays
  • Full training and support through exams
