We are looking for an
Electronics Consultant to strengthen the team's efforts and play a key part in the design and development of products ranging from drug delivery to diagnostic devices.

You will contribute to the whole product developmentlifecycle from the early stages and see projects right through to manufacture


The Role:


  • Understanding and capture clients' needs and translate them into practical product requirements
  • Responsible for electronics design documentation, including capturing requirements, architecture and design and test protocols
  • Participating in multidisciplinary medical device product development projects, like brainstorming, risk assessments, design development, design testing, sales meetings and presentations

About You:


  • Good degree, with a 2:1 or above in Electronic Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years' experience and a track record in developing electronic hardware, ideally within a medical devices company/consultancy and with some familiarity of ISO 13485/IEC 6060 Low noise analogue circuit design
  • PCB layout experience, ideally with Altium 36
  • Design for electrical safety and EMC
  • Effective working with external board manufacturing and assembly services
  • Experience with Verilog for FPGA development would be very useful
  • Able to communicate effectively across a range of people, including clients
  • Data gathering, analysis and presentation skills
