Schedule Support Administrator

Position Summary:

As a Schedule Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination and management of schedules for caregivers and clients in our domiciliary care setting.


You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating appointments, and addressing scheduling issues to ensure the highest level of care delivery.


Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring timely provision of care services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client appointments, caregiver assignments, and any changes to schedules.
  • Liaise with clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders to confirm appointments and address scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor caregiver availability and workload to ensure equitable distribution of assignments.
  • Respond promptly to scheduling requests and inquiries from clients and caregivers.
  • Communicate effectively with the care management team to update on scheduling changes and address any concerns.
  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize scheduling efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HR to onboard new caregivers and ensure they are appropriately scheduled for training and assignments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of care delivery.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a scheduling or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or domiciliary care setting.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders professionally and empathetically.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements and sensitivity to the needs of clients receiving domiciliary care services.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional certification or training in administration or healthcare administration preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This role primarily operates in an office environment.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate scheduling needs.

Salary:
£12.00 ph
