W Wright Electrical & Mechanical is a long established medium sized electrical and mechanical building services contractor based in Sheffield.

We have a history of delivering services to a wide range of clients including the health sector, local authorities,the leisure industry, commercial and industrial sectors.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our finance department with the opportunity for future progression within the company for an experienced Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Director across all aspects of a financerole.

You will have a strong finance background, familiar with accounting software, organised with god communication skills to join our office team.

Job Role

• Month end journals, including prepayments and accruals
• Full preparation of management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Account reconciliations
• Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
• Fixed Asset register management
• Quarterly VAT reporting
• Assisting with annual external audit
• Accurate completion of National Statistics Data
• Provide support to the Finance Director

Admin

• Management of motor fleet
• Booking training courses for staff & operatives
• Managing all insurances

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in a finance role required
• Effective communication skills
• Sage accounts Microsoft
• Payroll experience an advantage

Future prospects

• Takeover part of the Financial Directors duties

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 9am 5pm 1/2 for lunch
