Permanent:

24/7 Shifts (see below* for more info)**Do you have experience in 24/7 IT Service Operations and are looking for a new role? Deerfoot is working with one of the biggest names in the global financial services market who are seeking a flexible full-time IT Service Operations Analyst to take on thisvaried and critical role.


You will join a multi-skilled IT Service Operations Team whose responsibility is to ensure a fully operational IT service across the company and have an ever-increasing scope of activity supporting critical business services.


What you can expect to do as a 24/7 IT Service Operations Analyst

  • Major Incident/Problem Management prioritising work and managing stakeholders
  • Maintaining of IT services, such as infrastructure with the support of specialist IT teams and SMEs
  • Support ITIL Service Operations
  • Incident, Change, Availability and Continuity Management
  • Analyse service dashboards to identify and act upon potential serviceimpacting events
  • Manage IT suppliers, third parties, IT stakeholders and business stakeholders
  • Provide initial triage services during the night, and conducting outofhours maintenance
  • Collate, compile, and produce KPI reports, trend reports, post incident reports, etc
  • Support service improvement through proactive problem management activities

Successful applicants for the IT Service Operations Analyst will have a mix of the following:

  • Understanding of and an ability to triage and maintain a broad range of technologies across Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Databases, Applications etc (but you don't need to be a specialist
  • and training/knowledge sharing is available)
  • Prior experience of service operation type roles with involvement in ITIL operations (incident management, change management, availability management, continuity management)

Shift Patterns / Information:


  • 12 Hours Shifts (Days 7AM7PM, Nights 7PM7AM)
  • 4 Days > 4 Off > 4 Days > 4 Off > 4 Nights > 4 Off > Repeat (2/3 Shifts are Days, 1/3 Shifts Nights)
  • WFH on all Night Shifts, Weekends (incl. day shifts) and Bank Holidays (incl. day shifts)
  • On-Site for Weekday Day Shifts (if you prefer onsite working you can go in for other shifts too)
  • For the first few weeks (whilst settling in) you will work standard 95 Weekdays


As a vital member of the team, and in return for your expertise and flexibility our client will provide a favourable salary of up to £46k, plus a shift allowance of £4.6k.
