About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented professional, to join Staffordshire University's Student Support and Experience team, which is part of the Student Support and Wellbeing Service.
The Student Support and Experience (Money & Guidance) Advisor will inform and advise on student funding, money management, exceptional circumstances, course transfers and break-in-studies, through a variety of media utilising and promoting Blackbullion, and support the team with the administration of Emergency Short Term Loans and Student Support Awards, while assisting with providing basic information to our international students.
The postholder will work with the Student Support and Experience Manager, the Money & Guidance Practitioner and wider team in being adaptable and flexible with continually evolving specialist information, new initiatives developed from student feedback and benchmarking across the sector, utilising the latest technology and working partnership work with the Students' Union This will include implementing and utilising Blackbullion to promote money management, creating publications on money advice and guidance and promotion of the service across the student and staff community.
