The Governors of Heyes Lane Primary School wish to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic, highly motivated Level 2 teaching assistant in Key Stage 2 who is willing to take a full and active role in the life of the school and be part of a hard-working and committed team.

Heyes Lane Primary School is a three form entry school at the heart of a warm and vibrant community in Timperley.

We are a highly inclusive school and benefit tremendously from the diversity of the community we serve. We believe whole heartedly in the holistic development of our pupils - academically, physically, socially and emotionally.

Our team of talented and committed teachers and teaching assistants ensure that learning is engaging and inspiring and because of this, our pupils make excellent progress and reach high standards.

Lessons and the curriculum are designed to give our pupils plenty of time to acquire good skills and to become fluent in their understanding and use of these skills so that their minds may be freed up to reason, apply, invent and create.

We pride ourselves on our happy, supportive and safe environment and know that pupils at Heyes Lane Primary School are being supported to grow into responsible, caring and confident young people.

- have evidence of exceptional practice in supporting children in a primary setting;
- have high expectations of children's achievement, attainment, progress, behaviour and attitudes;
- have a positive outlook and be happy, enthusiastic and friendly;
- have the drive, energy and passion to work in our school with a warm and caring manner;
- be prepared to go the 'extra mile' for our children;
- be committed to the education and social well-being of every child in the school;
- have NVQ Level 2, BTEC Level 2 or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools;
- work as a team;
- liaise with parents/carers;
- work with other professionals;

If you believe you have the qualities we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
