Learning Support Assistant with CELTA Qualification

Looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career opportunity that enables you to help others reach their full potential? A college in Waltham Forest is currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a CELTA qualification to join their team and support learners in ESOL.

Job Details:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing additional assistance to students who require extra support with their learning.
With your CELTA qualification, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support learners in their journey to improve their English language proficiency.
You will deliver small group / 1:1 support to learners on ESOL, English, maths, vocational or study skills.
This role is timetabled at 25 hours a week.
Start date will be from Tuesday 18th April 2023 following enhanced clearance checks.
Responsibilities for this role include working closely with ESOL teachers to deliver tailored support to students, providing onetoone or group assistance as needed, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to teachers and other members of staff.
A CELTA qualification is required, as is previous experience working with ESOL students in a similar capacity.
