Please note *THIS POST IS SUBJECT TO JOB MATCHING* This post is a Health Education England Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist funded post based in the Community CAMHS team on the Isle of Wight.

The post consists of up to 1 year (2nd Year) of the pre-clinical training.

The applicant in the 2nd Year of their clinical training would be eligible for a post as an assistant within the team on a fixed term contract.

Upon acceptance by a recognised training school the Assistant shall progress to become a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist in training and receive a fixed term contract of 4 years as a trainee.

If the Assistant is not accepted by a recognised training school the contract will be terminated.

The Assistant should be following the post graduate MA course in Psychoanalytic Observational Studies, or ACP registered equivalent, at the point of taking up the post.

The post is full-time and consists of 0.8 sessions with the CAMHS Team and 0.2 sessions at the training school.

We will accept applicants at the following points in their training:

Year 2 In second year of ACP pre-clinical recognised training course and able to be employed as a Band 5 Assistant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist for one year.
