Bridge House Care Home is a residential and nursing care home, focused on person-centred care for every resident.

Bridge House was opened in 2018 and is set in a picturesque location just outside the small town of Brighouse.

The Role of Host/Hostess

• Our hosts/hostesses are highly valued team members, working closely with our care assistants to serve our residents.
• Our hosts/hostesses are responsible for taking food and drink orders from residents, preparing and cooking meals, then serving the correct orders.
• As one of our exceptional Hosts/Hostesses, your day will be varied between food preparation and serving, as well as ensuring your kitchen has a high standard of cleanliness. Interacting with our residents is also a vital aspect of the role, making sure they are served with a smile.
• One of the most important jobs for our hosts/hostesses is ensuring that every resident is served correctly, promptly, and with a high level of care and respect.
• You will work as part of our wellloved team, communicating with one and other to ensuring the residents are at the centre of everything you do. Whilst all the time we keep you safe, protected and cared for too.

About You

• Are you patient, empathetic, compassionate and love to care for others? Do you enjoy making a difference whilst making meaningful relationships? If so, then you'll fit right in at Bridge House.
• All training and inductions are provided at the home and online, so there's no need to travel.
• Experience is welcome but we understand experience comes from the beginning so don't worry if this is your first host/hostess role, or indeed if you have experience of other roles as everyone has something to offer no matter what their background or age.
• We provide all the information needed, You just provide a Passion for exceptional care, a bit of common sense, and your most of the way there.

Salary:
£9.70 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees must LFT test twice weekly. PPE is required and provided.
