ASD SEN Teaching Assistant
Burton on Trent

£75 - £95 per day

Are you passionate about education and making a difference in developing young people's lives with complex learning needs? You will be assisting the class teacher by helping the identified students to learn as effectively as possible, both independentlyand in different group situations with children who have either Autism or ADHD.

We are looking to appoint an autism specialist; your role will include:

Working alongside students in classrooms to develop relationships and provide meaningful support.
Confident using a EHCP plan in line with teaching bodies instructions.
Have relevant experience working with Autism Spectrum Condition individuals.
Be willing or have a DBS on the update child workforce enhanced service.
Flexible working attitude.
Willingness to learn and undertake CPD courses.
Genuine passion in education.
An effective behaviour management plan and strategies.
Have experience using PECs and Makaton.
