We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Assistant to work with a leading Fashion content brand within their studio creating solutions and managing all social media activities. Their offices are based in central London.

THE ROLE
The Social Media Assistant will be an integral member of the team.

You will have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Social Media landscape - including content optimisation and algorithms, building and engagingcommunities, social listening and reporting, skills in planning and executing socially-led projects and campaigns, and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting key global platforms.

Additionally, you will have an excellent understanding of differentusers' engagement on different platforms and have skills in visual branding in order to produce high quality content that engages audiences.


You are passionate about social media, and understand different platforms' complexities and nuances because you are an experienced, avid user.

You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practice examples, and love to break down barriers with newways of doing things.


DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Managing all social media accounts
  • TikTok, Discord, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn.
  • Scheduling and publishing content across all social media platforms.
  • Generating and creating overall social media weekly/monthly/yearly calendar.
  • Developing and setting social media content strategies for each platform, with weekly and monthly reports on performance across key metrics. ROI reports where necessary.
  • Coordinate social media specific content creation.
  • Monitor and strategize all social media community engagement

eg:

monitoring responses and engaging with existing contributors but also target and gain the support of other industry creatives or influencers.


  • Reporting to the Content Editor, under the guidance from the Director and Editor
  • Attendance at events where/if required, for live social coverage etc.
  • Providing ad hoc assistance to other teams when required.
  • Working closely with both Film and Design teams to ensure content created is optimised for all social platforms and adhering to best practice.
  • Oversee copywriting for all social platforms, working alongside the Editorial team.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • 2 or more years of experience, ideally in a similar social media role.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Later, Loomly, Hootsuite, Buffer and Asana.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Experience in fashion is essential, and an interest in digital fashion, photography and film would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of influencers, creatives, and competitors within the industry is key.
  • Skills_:
  • Strong writing and subediting skills.
  • Ability to understand and appropriately convey the brand values, tone of voice and visual aesthetic.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to work within a fastpaced, growing business.
  • Strong understanding of social media scheduling, reporting and analytical platforms.
  • Ability to effectively manage community engagement.
  • Photography skills are desirable but not compulsory.
