We're looking for Care Professionals who can support their community to get up and start their day, create good food that Is suitable for the older style pallet, escort them out to events or appointments, help people fathom the wonders of technology so they can see and speak to distant family, support them with the more mundane tasks within the house including laundry, housework and engage in conversation about todays world from the news in the papers to whats on the TV.

Job Description:

We all have daily routines that are specific to role is to support individuals to keep those same routines so that they continue to feel human.

A Client may be getting up at 8.30am and having a cup of tea brought to them in bed, followed by a quick wash and putting on clothes of their choice to make them look immaculate, adding scarf or necklace, make up and hair brushed.

Its perhaps, then downstairs for breakfast of porridge made in the way she likes another cup of tea and a chat then finishing off with her medication.

Isn't that a similar routine to many of us but our Clients need support with this; many Clients want to do as much for themselves as they can so you may be supervising or managing situations to achieve results the Clients want.

Lunchtime dinnertime calls calls may be supporting Clients to have freshly cooked food of their may even be fish and chips from the local chippy on a Friday because its a treat.

They may want you to take them to the pub for lunch or to the garden centre for coffee and cake or soup and a sandwich at their choice and you can make it happen.

Hoovering can be too much exercise and changing the bed sheets is too big a job for a senior but these things need to be done as part of staying independent within their own home.

A Care Professional can manage these tasks while chatting to the Client and listening to their amazing stories of old.

Hourly rate is £11 - £15.75 per hour depending on qualifications

Qualifications:
